Lake Lure

Lake Lure, NC is considered one of the prettiest lakes in all of North Carolina, if not the U.S. Located in the foothills of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, the lake sits in the Hickory Nut Gorge, surrounded by lush mountaintops and sheer granite cliffs. One of the area's iconic landmarks is Chimney Rock, a large granite outcropping that is accessible by car.
